The Danger of Hormone Imbalance
Our Mothers, Aunts, and Grandmothers Suffered With This ,But We Don’t Have To.
Our mothers lived with it.
Our aunts normalized it.
Our grandmothers endured it quietly.
The bloating.
The weight gain. Which leads to bigger issues.
The heavy cycles.
The mood swings.
The exhaustion.
The Brain Fog and constant agitation.
The anxiety they were told was “just part of being a woman.”
They were taught to push through.
To silence their bodies.
To accept discomfort as normal.
But we are the first generation with language, awareness, and access.
And because of that — the cycle can stop with us.
What they experienced has a name:
Estrogen dominance.
And no — it is not new.
It is generational.
Now our daughters are coming right behind us, suffering with PCOS, endometriosis, painful periods, and unexplained weight gain. We often dismiss it by saying, “I had the same thing,” without realizing that what was normalized for us does not have to be normal for them. On top of that, young Black women under the age of 40 are being diagnosed with cancer at an astronomical rate.
What estrogen dominance really is (without the medical runaround)
Estrogen dominance does not always mean you have “too much estrogen.”
More often, it means:
• estrogen is overpowering progesterone
• estrogen is not being cleared properly
• stress and insulin are disrupting balance
This is why it often shows up:
• in perimenopause
• after years of chronic stress
• after weight gain
• after years of skipping meals or dieting
• after doing “everything right” with no results
This is also why so many women say:
“My body changed overnight.”
It didn’t.
It adapted to survival.
Why this runs in families
Our elders lived through:
• chronic stress
• financial instability
• emotional suppression
• limited healthcare options
• hormone-disrupting environments
Stress lowers progesterone.
Fat cells produce estrogen.
Poor digestion reabsorbs estrogen.
Generation after generation, the same patterns repeated — not because women were weak, but because no one explained what was happening.
They were told:
“It’s normal.”
“It’s aging.”
“It’s in your head.”
It wasn’t.
Why pushing harder doesn’t fix it
This is where many women today get stuck.
They fast longer.
They cut more calories.
They drink more coffee.
They push their workouts harder.
But estrogen dominance does not respond to punishment.
High cortisol worsens symptoms.
High insulin increases estrogen storage.
Overstimulation drains progesterone.
This is why:
• belly fat becomes stubborn
• bloating doesn’t match what you eat
• coffee causes anxiety instead of energy
• weight loss feels impossible
Your body isn’t resisting you.
It’s protecting itself.
The truth our elders never received
Hormones respond to environment, not force.
Estrogen dominance improves when you:
• stabilize blood sugar
• lower insulin
• support liver and gut clearance
• protect progesterone
• reduce nervous system overload
This is not about being perfect.
It’s about being supported.
Something our mothers deserved — but didn’t get.
Why I created the Estrogen Dominance Protocol
I created this because women are tired of guessing.
Tired of symptoms being dismissed.
Tired of blaming themselves.
The Heal Your Estrogen Dominance Protocol is not a diet.
It is not a detox.
It is not a quick fix.
It is a clear, grounded, step-by-step system that teaches you:
• how to lower insulin without crashing your hormones
• how to stop reabsorbing estrogen
• how to support progesterone naturally
• how to regain energy without overstimulation
• how to work with your body — not against it
Especially if you’re in perimenopause or feel like your body has changed in ways no one explained.
We honor them by healing ourselves
Our mothers survived.
Our grandmothers endured.
Our aunts carried more than they should have.
But we are allowed to choose differently.
We are allowed to feel good.
We are allowed to understand our bodies.
We are allowed to break generational hormone patterns.

This isn’t just about hormones.
It’s about reclaiming comfort, clarity, and control.
The cycle doesn’t have to continue.
It can end with us.
